Lunawood products are thermally modified using the patented natural method of heat and steam – no chemicals are used during the process. Lunawood raw materials are Nordic pine and spruce which are harvested from well-managed, renewable Finnish forests. Lunawood uses a patented and third party-audited thermal modification process with a strict focus on quality control to ensure a long and healthy lifecycle for our products. The Lunawood Collection offers a wide selection of tongue and groove profiles for cladding and panelling, battens for decorative wood structures and surfaces, and decking boards with a hidden fixing system.

Lunawood ThermoWood® products store up to five times more carbon than is emitted in the production process, providing a significant carbon storage for decades to come. For us, however, this is not enough – our ambition goes even higher. Lunawood has two climate goals: to decrease greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 (SBTi) and to achieve carbon neutrality in our operations by 2035*. Simultaneously we aim to continuously improve resource efficiency and circularity in our work.
